Ms. Blue has been with Bell Rock Capital since it was founded in 2006. Ms. Blue serves as Bell Rock’s Chief Compliance Officer, as well as the roles of CFO and Director of Operations.

 

Jackie worked extensively on the assignment that Bell Rock assumed as the Financial Agent for the U.S. Department of Treasury.  Her expertise was needed to meet all of the cyber security compliance and the quarterly certifications needed to meet the immense security needs of an agency within the government. She met with senior professionals regularly at the U.S. Department of Treasury.  Jackie is extremely detail oriented which is necessary to execute such engagements and to run compliance, operations and finance of a $450 million AUM firm.  

 

Before joining Bell Rock, Jackie was a Director at Ryan Beck & Co/Stifel Nicolas working with an institutional sales group for the investment banking firm that had over 300 banks and thrifts clients nationwide. Jackie’s expertise was in balance sheet restructuring of banks and creating funding and hedging strategies.  She was a frequent speaker at trade group functions with an expertise in bank balance sheet management.  

 

Prior to working in Investment Banking, Jackie was the Chief Investment Officer for Sovereign Bancorp, Inc. which was $50 billion publicly traded bank with over 600 branches in the Mid-Atlantic and New England States. During her 16 year tenure at Sovereign Bank, Jackie led Funds Management, Asset/Liability Management, Budgeting, Profitability Analysis and Treasury Operations working directly for the CFO and CEO.  Major projects included the capital and debt raising of $1.8 billion to fund a $12 billion deposit acquisition of a large bank deposit divestiture. She had direct oversight of half the balance sheet of the bank and managed relationships with Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s for the outstanding debt of the company.            

 

Jackie is a graduate of Bloomsburg University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics and a minor in Finance, and holds an MBA degree from LaSalle University. She received her FINRA Series 7, and 63 licenses, and currently holds her Series 65 license.

 

Jackie enjoys her pets, traveling, gardening and golfing.  She has served as a teacher for the American Institute Banking and is a graduate of the “Center for Advanced Emotional Intelligence”.
